We offer a Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) approved and convenient way to complete part of the State of California Security Officer Guard Card Training. The Blended Learning (Online & In-Person) Security Guard Card Training Course allows students to complete the Powers to Arrest training online and then complete the Appropriate Use of Force Training at our training facility, located in Oakland (524 7th Street), on most Thursdays at 2:00 pm.

The Continuing Education/Skills Training Courses allow students to fulfill the required ongoing training, completely online.

Our online training platform is mobile friendly. Students can complete any Course at their own pace. Course progress is saved automatically, and students can complete a portion of the Course and log out, then log back in later and continue where they left off.

Do not be misled by other online training providers that offer the complete 8-hour Guard Card Course online. As of January 1, 2024, the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) requires that at least half of Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force training be given in-person through traditional classroom instruction. See BSIS Notice here.
