What to Expect from this Course

This Course has two subjects, each one with its own final examination. The first subject is Power to Arrest, which consists of lecture material and exam review quizzes. The second subject is Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism Awareness, which consists of a series of video presentations and workbook activities. You must finish both subjects of the Course in order to successfully complete the Course and receive a Certificate of Completion.

The Course satisfies the State of California, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, eight hour training requirement necessary to apply for the Security Guard License/Registration, better known as a Guard Card. After successful completion of this course, a training completion certificate will be issued to you, along with procedures on how to complete the application and background check process for the Guard Card. Completion of the training course does not guarantee, nor imply, licensure. You can take a break from the training Course after completing any section, and then restart the training where you left off.
